Hey Karen, We Need To Talk . . .
Enhancing Collaboration for a Stronger Brand: Video Update 8.14.24
Hey Karen,
We need to talk. There's been so much happening with your brand and business, both on your end and mine. Our weekly one-hour meetings just aren't enough to cover everything that needs discussing. So, I decided to make this video (and future ones) to help us communicate and collaborate more effectively on our progress and challenges. This effort aims to involve you more in the process and ensure our solutions align with your vision.
Deepening Engagement with Shared Solutions
There are numerous solutions and directions we can take, and it's crucial for you to be grounded and involved in understanding our efforts. This way, we can make informed decisions together. In preparation for our upcoming meeting this Friday, I want to go over our weekly tasks and provide more context.
Social Media Strategy
Goal This Week:
Complete scheduling and post at least a month in advance for both your personal brand Instagram page and your real estate brand page.
Personal Brand Instagram: We have enough content currently to post once per week, plus any additional content you send me.
Real Estate Brand Instagram: We aim for three posts per week, reflecting your desire to showcase more on the real estate side than the personal side, while still keeping your personal brand active.
We'll use photos from our brand photoshoot and video reels from past shoots. However, we need to ensure consistent content creation.
Creating Consistent Content
We have two primary options:
Traditional In-Person Shoots:
Pros: Highest quality video, creating an unmatched experience.
Cons: More time-consuming, requires more people, more expensive, and less frequent.
Remote Video Content:
Pros: Cost-effective, requires fewer resources, can be done any time and anywhere with just a phone.
Cons: Quality isn't as high as traditional shoots.
We could also combine both methods—using remote videos for consistency and in-person shoots for special highlights.
Leveraging Existing Footage
We have documentary-style video footage from your brand photoshoot and the Inspirame shoot, but it's missing a crucial component—your real estate story. Highlighting your real estate efforts is vital to the narrative. While we've yet to capture this, we can start by sharing snippets of the existing footage on your personal Instagram. This approach will keep the momentum going while we plan for more comprehensive real estate content.
Updating Website Imagery
This week, we're updating your website imagery using the photos from the brand shoot. The process involves creating a mockup of the current website, selecting the best photos, and sharing the mockup with you for approval. Once approved, we'll send the mockup and photo files to Ram to update the live site.
Improving Team Communication
With all you're handling—real estate, daily tasks, travels, and managing your assistant—team communication is vital. We need more open communication and regular meetings so everyone supporting you can stay aligned. A monthly meeting with all parties involved could help us support you better and ensure we're all on the same page.
Engaging in Open Dialogue
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, whether in a return video or during our next chat. This ongoing communication will help us get better at collaborating and using the technology available to make this work.
Talk to you soon.
Peace.
